Healthwatch Salford's Annual General Meeting

We will be holding our next AGM at Eccles Gateway on Tuesday the 25th of November.
This year's AGM theme is #MensHealthMatters and we will have a guest speaker with a lived experience of prostate cancer.

It's your opportunity to learn about the work we have done over the past year and network with people who are passionate about health and care in Salford.

At the meeting, we will also be collecting donations for the local Salford group, Dancing with Dementia. They're looking for donations of men's toiletries to gift to men on their birthdays throughout the year, for their Birthday Box project. Jeanette from Dancing with Dementia shared “The gifts are wrapped with love and together with a handmade card they are sent into care homes for residents with no family members , they become part of the Dancing with Dementia family it’s a much needed project the sense of belonging & knowing some one cares is vital to the mental well being & the enjoyment of unwrapping the gift brings back so many memories.“

Can I ask a question ?

If a member of the public wishes to ask a question, there will be a public session at the start of each board meeting – with a maximum time allocated for questions of 15 minutes. Members of the public are invited to submit written questions in advance of each Board meeting. The deadline for submissions is five working days before the meeting. Pre-submitted questions will be considered at the start of the meeting. The Chair will also have discretion to take verbal questions from attendees on the day; questions received in advance will take priority.
