Take five minutes to share your experiences in BSL

Feedback from d/Deaf patients is vital to help service improvements. At Healthwatch Salford, we have created a process to allow people who use BSL (British Sign Language), to let us know what their experience was like with health and care services.

We want you to tell us what your recent experience with health and care services was like.  You can do this by either completing the form below or record a video of yourself signing in BSL and sending to our WhatsApp 07410 411558.

Information you should include in your video message:

  • What service are you telling us about?
  • What was your experience and when did it happen?
  • Tell us if we have permission to share your experience with the services concerned.
  • Leave your contact details if you would like us to get back to you, telling us whether you would like a reply as a BSL video, text message or email.

Give us your feedback by one of the following ways:

  • Record your video in BSL and send to us through text message or WhatsApp to: 07410 411558
  • Send us a text message or WhatsApp to: 07410 411558
  • Send us an email to: info@healthwatchsalford.co.uk
  • Complete the form below

What we will do with your information

  1. When we have received your video, we will send you a message to confirm its receipt within 5 working days.
  2. We will then have the message translated by a BSL interpreter, and your feedback will be recorded on our system.
  3. If you have given your contact details and we need more information, we may send you a video message in BSL to ask more questions or arrange a time when we could meet up in person with a BSL interpreter to chat about your experience more.
  4. If you have given permission for us to share your experience with the services concerned, we will ask those services to make contact with you within 28 working days.
