A project looking into young people’s mental health services in Salford.

This travel grant is intended for local organisations/community groups in Salford and individuals working in Salford who wish to transport a group of people to the Healthwatch Salford event ‘Have Your Say Health Fair’ on Tuesday 1st of July 2025.

Healthwatch Salford was established under the Health and Social Care Act 2012 to understand the needs, experiences, and concerns of people who use health and social care services and to speak out on their behalf.
This is our high-level strategy which will feed into a lower-level plan for the year, which we revise and publish annually.

Our plan for the year ahead calendar sets out how we will collect the views of patients and the public about their health and social care services for the year ahead. This plan builds on last year’s work and aligns with our refreshed organisational strategy.

Living Well Salford is a community mental health service, delivered in partnership between Greater Manchester Mental Health (GMMH), Mind in Salford, Six Degrees, Wellbeing Matters and START.

Our plan for the year ahead calendar sets out how we will collect the views of patients and the public about their health and social care services for the year ahead.

This project looked at the home care service provided in Salford, ie the provision of care workers providing care for people who receive support in their own home. There are a number of home care agencies commissioned to deliver this service across Salford.
