Investors in Diversity Award for Small Charities recognition following reassessment

Here at Healthwatch Salford we are pleased to share that we have achieved national recognition for demonstrating our commitments to equality and diversity following our recent reassesment.
Investors in Diversity award

Healthwatch Salford’s role is to ensure all people are able to share their experiences about health and care, with diversity embedded in our core values of the organisation.

The National Centre for Diversity has accredited Healthwatch Salford with the Investors in Diversity Award for Small Charities following our recent reassessment.

The award is recognised as the national standard to ensure that the FREDIE values of fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion, and engagement are at the centre of decision-making in the workplace.

I’m so pleased that we have successfully achieved the Investors in Diversity for Small Charities Award again following a reassessment. The ‘FREDIE’ values of fairness, respect, equality, diversity, inclusion and engagement are key values to our organisation. We will endeavour to retain that commitment to them and look forward to working further with the IiD in order to remain a FREDIE organisation.

Sam Cook, Chief Officer at Healthwatch Salford

The Investors in Diversity for Small Charities journey and achievement of the standard gives a
positive message to all the stakeholders, internal and external, and each person should be
congratulated for their input and success of the organisation.
