Virtual Support Group Toolkit
Healthwatch Salford has got together with the Northern Care Alliance to produce this toolkit aimed at helping health and wellbeing support groups in Salford, Bury, Rochdale and Oldham to mobilise their meetings in the virtual world online.
This toolkit will allow groups of people to get together, create and support each other in a digital space.
Included within this toolkit is:
- An introduction to different platforms to meet and support each other online
- Instructions on how to use different platforms and how to set up meetings
- How to advertise and administer your group meetings
- Good practice for ground rules
- Safeguarding
- What to do if something goes wrong
