Have your say on health and social care in the city at new virtual health forum

People in Salford will get the chance to learn what it is like to be on the frontline during a pandemic at a new free online event.

Staff from the North West Ambulance Service will be guest speakers at the launch of Healthwatch Salford’s Community Forum

Join us on Tuesday, October 13 at 10.30am to talk about how they have responded to the current crisis and plans for the future.

Attendees to the forum, which is open to the public and professionals, will also get the chance to share their views on Salford’s health and social care services during COVID-19.

It is more important than ever that people of all ages get a say when it comes to the health and social care services they access – be it a visit to their GP, receiving care in a residential home, and everything in between.
The pandemic has changed the way we access these services – and as the city’s champions of patient experience, we want to make sure people’s voices get heard. Alongside the new forum, we have launched a survey to capture people’s views on receiving services over the past six months.

How often will they be?

Each month Healthwatch Salford will host the online forum to provide a space for residents to share their own experiences, which will also host guest speakers from leading health and social care organisations, who will share their insights on delivering services in the city.
