Black History Month: Celebrate Sisterhood

Luso Connection UK are organising family day to celebrate and showcase the contribution of Black African in building and strengthening local communities. They aim to learn from & honour the incredible contributions of our Black sisters to local Salford.

Under the theme of Celebrating sisterhood, we aim to share through storytelling, first-person experience, exhibition, food & business stalls the crucial role that black women have played in shaping history, inspiring change, and building community.

This event is not only brought together people from our community, it's open to all. Free to attend with free snacks available for children, paint session with local Salford artist Chelsea Entwistle & Suraj arts, Traditional African food, art exhibit and a health expo.
