Are you a user of Salford City Council’s Equipment Service? Can you spare five minutes to give your views on the vital service?

Salford City Council is working in collaboration with Healthwatch Salford and NHS Salford Clinical Commissioning Group to create a survey to capture the views of Salfordians, who have used the equipment service in the past six months to aid a better quality of life.

This is a really valuable opportunity for service users, family members and carers, to share their experiences and suggest changes to the service that will best meet the needs of Salford residents.

We are keen hear from anyone who has used any equipment in the past six months - from bath lifts, hoists, grab rails, beds to mobility aids such as walking frames.

Alex Leach, Chief Officer

The equipment service makes a huge difference to people’s lives and we always value feedback from those who use it, to ensure it continues to meet people’s needs.

Councillor Gina Reynolds, Lead Member for Adult Services, Health and Wellbeing

The five-minute survey is available to complete online from February 1st or can be posted out to service users. A family member or a carer can complete the survey. All information collected will be kept anonymous. The deadline for completion of the survey is February 28th.
