    As a follow-up from the main health access and homelessness project and report back in May 2018, we decided that phase 2 would focus on rough sleepers and their access to mental health and drug and alcohol services in Salford.

    Healthwatch Salford carried out an Enter and View visit to the Hamlet Care Home, a residential care home with places for up to 9 residents.

    Healthwatch Salford carried out an Enter and View visit to the Fountains Care Home, a residential care home with places for up to 98 residents.

    Healthwatch Salford carried out an Enter and View visit to Heartly Green Residential Home, a residential and nursing care home with places for up to 30 residents.

    On 23rd January 2018, Healthwatch Salford undertook an Enter and View visit to the Alderwood Care Home to engage with residents of the home and understand their experience of living there and identify examples of good practice.

    Healthwatch Salford carried out an Enter and View visit to Astley Court, a communal housing scheme that enable older people over 55, and others who require extra support, to continue to live independently with flexible support and security.

    This was an announced Enter and View visit. The Authorised Representatives collected feedback from residents, relatives and staff about multiple aspects of the home, such as the environment, management, food and drink, activities, culture, and staff.
